How to create easy wall art

Want to create some easy wall art? All you need is an afternoon and these simple to follow steps!

Step one:

Decide where you’re going to hang your canvas, this will help you choose the right size canvas.

Step two:

Pick your colour scheme: three or four contrasting and complementing colours will make your piece look professional with little effort.

Step three:

With a pencil and ruler, mark the size of the shapes you want and outline them with masking tape.

Step four:

Lay your canvas on some newspaper, using British Paints Clean & Protect fill in the shapes with thin even brush strokes. Set aside for 20 minutes until dry and then apply your second coat.

Step five:

Remove the tape and you’re done. Hang in a light room on a neutral wall to really make the colour pop!
