Refresh your style in a weekend

If you love dining and entertaining alfresco as much as we do then read on for three projects to update your garden and impress your guests.

If you own your home:

Two words: feature wall.

These aren’t just for interior rooms! Channel warm Central America this summer with our bold Costa Rica in British Paints 4 seasons.

Off set this bold feature with crisp white trims.

If you rent your home:

Dip dyed furniture is a fun and easy way to update your furniture, especially if you rent and can’t commit to painting a fixed feature.

Sand down the legs of your stool or table, wrap tape halfway up and apply British Paints PREP 4in1 Water Based to prep. Allow this to dry and then apply British Paints H20 Enamel Gloss in the colour of your choosing (we went for Citrus Zing) with a paintbrush.

If you don’t want to go it alone:

Make your guests earn their dinner by throwing a painting party. Our sample pots are great for small activities, like painting cheap terracotta pots.

Lay down some newspaper, grab some brushes and use our British Paints 4 seasons for a polished and weatherproof finish. Use tape for a dip dyed look, or go freehand if you have a steady hand!

Top tip: prep your pots with British Paints PREP 4in1 Water Based and use our Retouch atomiser to apply your colour. Peachy dream is a great summer colour!
