When deciding on a change big or small, it’s best to make sure you have the right coloured furniture to suit the colour scheme of a room. This will ensure it flows nicely throughout the space.

Shapes can play an important role when decorating your home and the shapes you use can determine the overall feeling of a space.

Like the example above, a two-toned zigzag in muted greys work perfectly with pastels and makes for a creative atmosphere.

Working different shapes into a room through your décor is easy using rugs, linen or cushions – especially if you don’t want to commit to painting. And it’s easy to move things around depending on how you want to use the space season to season.

The easiest way to add colour or shapes to a bedroom is through linens. Make the bed the focal point and add character with a bold new set. Pick up a few different styles and your bedroom will feel like a new space each time your change your sheets!
