Bold colour is making a come back and is reappearing as a must-have trend for any room.

There are some key factors for making it work, and we’ve found some great examples.

Adding bright colours can really rejuvenate a white room. This can be done with rugs, bowls and accessories, or even a few plants scattered around the space which helps create balance.

Deeper colours are really inviting and will contribute to creating character particularly in a bedroom. Choose plum tones, teamed with pale pinks and white for a modern, yet cosy feel.

Using tan furniture in a neutral space will help anchor busy colourful elements in a white room. Arrange your furniture first and then spread the colour out for an even look.

For a bold style, inject colour using printed pillows and loud furniture. Use small bright pieces in clashing colours that represent your individual style. This scheme works great in small spaces such as hallways and playrooms.
