If you only have a small backyard, why not re-vamp an old coffee table and stools by painting the legs a vibrant colour to create the illusion of more space. British Paints Retouch is not only good for touching up marks around the home, it’s great for spray painting any small projects like this!

Step 1

First you’ll need a British Paints Retouch atomiser, the colour of your choice – we love bright colours for Summer, like teal, mint, or lemon.

Step 2

Lay out newspaper underneath the furniture to protect the ground from any overspray and wear protective gloves and mask.

Hint: We also recommend completing this project outside on a sunny day.

Step 3

Pour 150mL of your paint into the container and thin by adding water, shake the bottle well for 1 minute. Note: Do not shake the atomiser.

Hold the atomiser up and do not tilt more than 45 degrees when spraying. Hold the nozzle down firmly and spray 15-20cm back from the surface.

Step 4

Allow 20 minutes to dry between coats. We recommend two coats. Then invite your friends round to test out your new garden set!
