Colours of Autumn

Autumn is here and we’ve compiled our favourite colours that will be featuring this season. These colour schemes create a soft, earthy atmosphere that represents the autumn style we all know and love.

Dusty Olive

Soft, olive tones are popular this year and a nice way to refresh a room for this season. Try our Light Foliage green- it will give a room a fresh, autumn feel and works as a feature wall against neutral whites.

Grey walls with a touch of autumn

Greys and oranges are popular autumn colours; here is a nice example of contrast and flow when working with a strong colour against a neutral. Whenever you work with orange, make it a statement rather than all encompassing – use paint such as a soft grey, or white as your base and add splashes of orange in the cushions or furniture.

Taupe

Taupe is a combination of beige and grey creating a relaxing natural tone.  For those that love traditional styles and a cosy atmosphere, taupe is a good alternative to grey, white or beige.

Tip: Complement a taupe room with other neutrals for a fresh feeling.

Feature Walls

An olive feature wall will come alive in autumn. Pair with pops of colour such as yellow and orange, these earthy tones will add warmth to the room.
