If you love your white walls, but are unsure how to make those plain corners in a room interesting, we’ve put together some inspiration and ideas to help fill those empty spaces without going to too much trouble.

Filling a Space

A tall lamp is a quick and easy way to fill a corner space. You’ll find it will also create height in the room and won’t appear cluttered. Choosing a lamp colour that matches the walls will also allow for other style elements, such as the sofa or rug, to remain the key feature.

Practical Corners

If you’d prefer to make practical use of a corner space, fill it with a chair and side table to create a getaway corner for reading or relaxing. Decorate the space with a touch of your home’s colour either on the chair or table to create flow throughout the rooms.

Planters

For a minimalist look, use tall planters to compliment the space. If you do have white or neutral walls, a planter with vibrant greenery will present the colour you need to fill the space.

Tip: Try paining the planter a pop of colour to match the theme of your home, or other parts of décor already in the space.

Mirrors

This look will work best in a large living space so you have more room to play with, and can afford some extra seating or storage. Placing a mirror above this space will bring depth to the room as well as being a practical style solution for those awkward corners.
