Colour accuracy

British Paints has carefully managed the colours being presented in the images to ensure their accuracy to the true paint colour. Best results will be obtained on your system by setting the monitor colour temperature to 6500K, viewing the image with a subdued surround and comparing the image against colours seen in natural daylight.

The sometimes substantial variation in colour presentation between monitors, LCDs and laptops can be minimised by adjusting the contrast and brightness controls.

Colour reproduction can vary viewing colours on your screen. To ensure best reproduction of colours on your screen, follow the instructions set out above. For complete satisfaction test your colour selection at home, using British Paints Sample Pots. Remember only British Paints Bases are formulated for tinting to the exact colour you select.
